Bengkulu – The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (UNIB), has once again demonstrated its strong commitment to graduate employability by successfully facilitating a recruitment program in collaboration with PT. SBA Wood Industries on 20–21 January 2026.

PT. SBA Wood Industries is a multinational company operating in the Industrial Plantation Forest (Hutan Tanaman Industri/HTI) sector, with major operational areas in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The recruitment initiative was conducted to meet the company’s workforce needs and to provide employment opportunities for UNIB graduates.

The recruitment process took place on the University of Bengkulu campus and was attended by alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture from various academic programs. The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture expressed appreciation for the trust placed by PT. SBA Wood Industries in selecting UNIB as a strategic partner in the recruitment process.

“This activity reflects the synergy between higher education institutions and the industrial sector. We hope that our graduates will contribute professionally and sustainably to the development of the forestry industry,” the Dean stated.

The recruitment program was implemented in a smooth, orderly, and timely manner, receiving positive feedback from participating alumni. Many candidates welcomed the initiative as a valuable opportunity to directly access employment in the forestry and natural resource-based industry.
