The signing of the PKS Agreement between FP UNIB and FAPET UNRAM and the Return of Research Program Students to the UNRAM Campus
On Friday, June 28, 2024, at the FP UNIB Dean’s meeting room, the Dean of FP UNIB and his leadership team welcomed the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Mataram (FaPet UNRAM) delegation. FaPet UNRAM had sent its delegation to FP UNIB for the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Arrangement (IA), following the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the leaders of both institutions.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Dwi Wahyuni Ganefianti, MS, who served as Dean of FP UNIB for the 2020-2024 term, represented FP UNIB at the signing ceremony of the PKS and IA documents. Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, S.P., M.Si, and the Vice Deans of FP UNIB were also present, accompanying and witnessing the signing.
On this occasion, FP UNIB also bid farewell to and handed over two FaPet UNRAM students, Baiq Viaretika and Khaerul Hakim, who had spent several months since February 2024 conducting research under the coordination of the Department of Animal Husbandry at FP UNIB. FP UNIB’s dairy cattle experts, Prof. Dr. Ir. Endang Sulistyowati, M.Sc, Dr. Suharyanto, M.Si, and Ir. Edi Soetrisno, M.Sc., intensively supervised the field research activities and the thesis writing.
Mr. Ashari, as the representative of FaPet UNRAM, officially received the two students back after their academic activities at FP UNIB. Attending the student handover ceremony were the Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry at FP UNIB, Dr. Irma Badarina, S.Pt., MP, and the Animal Husbandry Study Program Coordinator, Ir. Edi Soetrisno, M.Sc. The two students were grateful to FP UNIB and the academic community for their warm reception and guidance during their research activities. The Dean of FP UNIB expressed hope that the collaborative activities between the two institutions would continue and develop in the coming years. [hdp]
