PKM Teams from the Faculty of Agriculture Participate in the PKM Team Send-Off Event Facing PKP2 2024
Bengkulu, July 12, 2024 – Two teams from the 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM) of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bengkulu (UNIB) participated in the send-off event for the UNIB PKM teams who will face the PKP2 2024 (Progress Evaluation of PKM Implementation). The event was held in the Main Meeting Room of the UNIB Rectorate and was attended by various stakeholders.
The Vice-Rector opened the event for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Candra Irawan, S.H., M.Hum., who gave a motivational speech to the students. This was followed by a briefing from the PKM Unit, which provided guidance and directions to the competing PKM teams. Internal reviewers also monitored and evaluated the teams to ensure their readiness.
The two teams from the Faculty of Agriculture participating in this event are:
- PKM-Research (PKM-P)
- Leader: Aulia Faizati
- Supervisor: Prof. Agustin Zarkani
- Research Title: “Diversity of Whitefly Insect Pests (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) on Cocoa Plants (Theobroma cacao L.) in Bengkulu Province.”
- PKM-Community Service (PKM-PM)
- Leader: Ririn Julita Sari
- Supervisor: Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si.
- Project Title: “Assistance to Forest Farmer Groups to Overcome Land Limitations Using the DFT (Deep Flow Technique) Hydroponic System for Pakcoy Plants in Bengkulu City.”
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, has set a target for these two teams to advance to the National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) 2024 at Airlangga University, Surabaya. She expressed her hopes that these teams can bring honour to UNIB at the national level with optimal guidance and thorough preparation.
PKP2, or Progress Evaluation of PKM Implementation, is a crucial stage in the PKM process where program implementation progress and quality are assessed before advancing to the next stage. The entire academic community of UNIB fully supports the competing teams, hoping they achieve success at the national level.
