Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu Hosts Independence Day Festivities
In celebration of Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day, the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bengkulu is organizing a “Semarak Kemerdekaan Indonesia” event on Friday, August 16, 2024. The event will take place at the Faculty of Agriculture’s Dean’s Field and will run from 7:00 to 11:30 a.m.
This event is designed to foster a sense of togetherness and nationalism among the faculty, administrative staff, and members of the Dharma Wanita organization within the Faculty of Agriculture. It also aims to strengthen the bonds among the academic community within the faculty.
The event will feature various exciting competitions divided into two main categories: competitions for women and men. The competitions for women will include:
- Tumpeng competition between or within study programs
- Makeup or dressing up without a mirror
- Balloon dancing in pairs
- Chain message game
- Word guessing game
Meanwhile, the competitions for men will consist of:
- Cracker eating contest
- Balloon dancing in pairs
- Sarong relay race
- Word guessing game
All participants must wear red and white-themed costumes to commemorate Independence Day. The event will also offer various attractive prizes for the competition winners.
All faculty members, administrative staff, and Dharma Wanita members from the Faculty of Agriculture enthusiastically participated in this activity, bringing new energy to the celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day.
