AGROFEST (Agroecotechnology Festival) 2024
AGROFEST (Agroecotechnology Festival) is an annual event organized by the Agroecotechnology Student Association of the Department of Crop Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Bengkulu University. This event aims to showcase students’ interests and explore their potential in various fields, such as academics and culture, through a series of competitions. It encourages students to express their creativity and innovation, especially in agriculture, in this modern era. This year’s event theme is “Strengthening the Existence and Future of Food in the Era of Artificial Intelligence through Agrofestival in the Land of Rafflesia.”
AGROFEST serves as a platform for students to develop their talents and exhibit their potential across different academic fields, along with presenting their outstanding work at this festival. The event was attended by Dr Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si, Vice Dean of Student Affairs; Prof. Dr Ir. Reny Herawati, MP, Head of the Agroecotechnology Department; Ir. Eko Suprijono, MP, Head of the Agroecotechnology Study Program; and Dr. Ir. Rustikawati, MP, as the HIMAGROTEK Supervisor.
AGROFEST took place on Friday, November 1, 2024, in the Multimedia Room of the Agronomy Laboratory. This event encouraged young generations to foster creativity and innovation, with 24 participants from 17 universities across Indonesia sharing their creative and innovative ideas.
