
Faculty of Agriculture UNIB Serves as Ceremony Officials on Hari Pahlawan at the University of Bengkulu
Bengkulu, November 10, 2024 – In commemoration of Hari Pahlawan, the Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) at the University of Bengkulu was honoured to serve as the officials for the ceremony held at the University’s Rectorate. The ceremony was attended by university leaders, faculty members, and students from various faculties, all gathered to pay tribute to the heroes who have contributed to the nation’s independence.
This year, Faperta played a significant role in organizing the event. A choir group composed of 30 students performed patriotic songs and anthems, adding to the solemn atmosphere of the commemoration. Their impressive performance showcased the spirit of unity and nationalism among the students.
In addition, the ceremony was attended by 100 students from the Faculty of Agriculture, representing 8 different study programs. These students were not only participants in the ceremony but also prospective scholarship recipients from the Faculty of Agriculture. Their presence demonstrated their commitment to upholding the values of heroism and served as motivation for their academic and extracurricular achievements.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr Indra Cahyadinata, expressed his appreciation and pride in the student’s participation as ceremony officials. Hari Pahlawan serves as a reminder for all of us, especially the younger generation, to honour the sacrifices of those who fought for our independence. The active involvement of our students in this ceremony is hoped to foster a sense of patriotism and love for our country,” he stated.
By involving the Faculty of Agriculture as the ceremony officials, the University of Bengkulu hopes to instil the spirit of Hari Pahlawan in the hearts of its students. This spirit is expected to motivate them to become a resilient, competitive generation who will contribute positively to the nation’s progress.
