The faculty of Agriculture has held an Undergraduate Thesis Competition for Period 108

Faculty of Agriculture, Wednesday (December 4, 2024)—The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, successfully held the Period 108 Thesis Competition in the Dean’s Meeting Room. Twelve of the best participants from various study programs attended this event.

The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, officially opened the event. In her speech, she expressed her hope that this competition could motivate students to continue improving the quality of their research while also providing accurate contributions to the development of science in agriculture and the environment.

This competition presents three expert judges in their fields, namely:

  1. Ir. Herry Gusmara, M.Sc. ,
  2. Maya Anggraini Fajar Utami, S.Pi., M.Sc. 
  3. Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si.

The twelve participants in this competition came from various study programs, including Marine Science, Agrotechnology, Agribusiness, Forestry, and Agricultural Industrial Technology. Here is the list of participants:

This competition is an appreciation event for students who have completed their theses with good research quality. Participants present their research results to the judges during the event, followed by an active question-and-answer session.

The winners of this competition will be announced at the 108th graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Agriculture on December 9, 2024. The first-place winner will give a scientific oration at the ceremony.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Agriculture hopes to continue encouraging the improvement of research quality and producing competent graduates in their fields. The winners will be announced at the end of the event, with special awards for the three best works.
