
Dean of Faperta Congratulates Prof. Sigit Sudjatmiko on His Professorship Inauguration at UNIB
On Monday, December 9, 2024, Rector of the University of Bengkulu (UNIB), Dr. Retno Agustina Ekaputri, S.E., M.Sc., officially inaugurated five new professors at the Gedung Serba Guna. These distinguished academics hail from various faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture, Social and Political Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Economics and Business.
Among those honored was Prof. Dr. Ir. Sigit Sudjatmiko, M.Sc., from the Faculty of Agriculture, whose inauguration as a professor of Ecophysiology marks a significant milestone for the faculty. Prof. Sigit’s recognition adds to the esteemed roster of professors at Agriculture Faculty, making him the 33th professor to achieve this distinction in the faculty’s history.
During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Sigit. He commended Prof. Sigit’s dedication and scholarly achievements, which have greatly enriched the faculty and UNIB at large. “This is a proud moment for the Faculty of Agriculture and for UNIB as a whole. Prof. Sigit Sudjatmiko has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of ecophysiology.
