Inauguration of the Chairperson of HIMA and ORMAWA Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu for 2025

Bengkulu, January 6, 2025—The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, officially inaugurated the Student Association (HIMA) and Student Organization (ORMAWA) management for 2025. The inauguration ceremony took place in the Main Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, and was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Head of Study Program, Head of Department, and the supervisors of each HIMA and ORMAWA.

WD3 Report: Process and Expectations
In her report, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, said that before the inauguration, each HIMA and ORMAWA held a Working Conference (Muker) and a Grand Conference (Mubes) to design a work program for the following year. After the inauguration, the elected Chairmen of HIMA and ORMAWA are required to prepare an annual work program that will be assisted by the Head of Department, Head of Study Program, and Advisory Board.

The inauguration event includes: 8 HIMA: HIMATIN, HIMAGROTEK, HIMASETA, HIMA SYLVA, HIPROMATER, HMPT, HIMAILKA, HIMITA and 3 UKM: MEDIKA, MGC, KAMPALA.

Directions and Messages from the Dean
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr Indra Cahyadinata provided essential directions to the newly inaugurated chairs and administrators. The Dean emphasized that the formation of management at the beginning of the year is very important to maximize the design and implementation of the work program. HIMA and ORMAWA are expected to be places where students excel, both through routine activities and strategic activities that support the achievement of the university’s Main Performance Indicators (IKU).

“Congratulations to all the newly inaugurated Chairmen and Administrators of HIMA/ORMAWA. Hopefully, this mandate can be carried out with full responsibility, bring benefits to students, and support the progress of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu,” said the Dean.

The inauguration ceremony took place solemnly, smoothly, and closed with a joint prayer and a photo session of the administrators and mentors. With a new spirit, the management of HIMA and ORMAWA of the Faculty of Agriculture is ready to face challenges and achieve achievements in 2025.
