
Faperta Award 2024: Appreciation and Farewell Ceremony for Retiring Lecturers and Staff
The Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) at Bengkulu University hosted its prestigious annual event, the Faperta Award 2024, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Held in the Faculty of Agriculture’s Meeting Room, the event celebrated the achievements of outstanding lecturers and administrative staff while bidding farewell to those entering retirement. The ceremony, which began at 9:00 AM, was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, M.Si.
In his opening speech, the Dean emphasized that the Faperta Award has become a cherished tradition, serving as a farewell ceremony and a means to recognize lecturers’ and staff’s significant contributions and extraordinary accomplishments. “Each year, Bengkulu University evaluates the performance of the Faculty of Agriculture. These achievements result from the collective hard work of every element within the Faculty of Agriculture. While we are all excellent, this event allows us to identify the best among the best,” Dr. Indra remarked. He also thanked the retiring lecturers and staff for their invaluable contributions to the Faculty of Agriculture.

A special event moment was the farewell to Hasrini Verawati, S.E., M.M., who had served as the Faculty’s Financial Officer for eight years. Hasrini, fondly known as Vera, has been reassigned as the University’s Financial Disbursement Officer, with Delfia, A.Md., taking over her position. Vera expressed her gratitude and hopes for the Faculty of Agriculture’s continued growth in her farewell speech. The event, attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Senate Chair, department heads, program coordinators, award recipients, and other participants, was filled with pride and heartfelt gratitude. Through the Faperta Award 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture remains committed to fostering a productive and innovative work culture for years.
