
Workshop on the 2025 Work Program of HIMA SYLVA PCSI, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu.
Bengkulu, January 25, 2025 – The HIMA Sylva Student Association, Forestry Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (UNIB), held a Work Program Workshop for 2025 on Saturday (25/01). The opening ceremony occurred at the GKB 1, Faculty of Agriculture, UNIB.
The workshop was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si., who was also present to welcome all participants warmly. In her remarks, Dr. Hesti appreciated the students’ enthusiasm for compiling innovative and relevant work programs to support the development of student potential and improve student achievement.
Also present at the opening ceremony were Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si., and Amelia Dwi Susanti, S.Hut., M.Si., as the Advisory Board of HIMA SYLVA. On that occasion, both conveyed direction and motivation to the HIMA SYLVA administrators to continue to commit to the organization’s vision, which focuses on the forestry profession and supports sustainable forest resource management.
“Through this workshop, we hope that HIMA SYLVA can produce work programs that not only increase the capacity of forestry students but also provide a real impact on environmental conservation, program harmonization with the Forestry Department is very much needed, and improve the achievements of forestry students,” said Hefri Oktoyoki in his speech.
Meanwhile, Amelia Dwi Susanti emphasized the importance of collaboration between members and upholding the values of professionalism in every program that will be implemented. “The key to organizational success is solid cooperation and careful planning. Hopefully HIMA SYLVA will continue to grow and provide meaningful contributions,” he added.
This workshop is an important moment for HIMA SYLVA SIPC in designing work programs for 2025 that cover various fields, ranging from education to increasing member capacity, environmental awareness, and community service. The one-day series of workshop events involved all members of the organization.
This event is expected to be a good first step in realizing HIMA SYLVA SIPC’s vision and mission as an active, creative, high-achieving, and environmentally conscious student organization.
